Community Service in Nepal was founded in 2014 as a government-licensed non-profit community service based in Nepal by a group of concerned citizens and Social Workers.  It is subject to an independent audit every year, and by donating directly to Community Service of Nepal, you cut out the middlemen between your help and the local people of Nepal working together to help themselves.

When you donate directly to Social Workers in Nepal, your help is not IRS deductible. 

But you CAN know your dollars are going to the exact place where they are needed, to people living through the crisis, who see exactly what is most needed, and have the connections and experience to provide it efficiently to the people who desperately need it.

We are a group of Nepalese humanitarians and social workers. We are all volunteers who formed a Nepal government-registered nonprofit in 2014 to formalize work we had already been quietly doing for years. 

As a legal nonprofit, our finances go through an independent audit so that we can recertify each year.
